Visiting Hibbing?

Need restaurant information, hotel information, directions to anything… or where to visit? We have it all!

Stop by and rediscover Hibbing, the greatest small city to visit. Learn the history of Hibbing, the town that moved, the home of Bob Dylan, and the home of the largest open pit Iron ore mine: The Hull Rust Mahoning Mine.

Stop by and visit with one of our Tourist Ambassadors.

Besides, having a wealth of information about Hibbing, we also highlight tourist information from our partners:

  • The Hibbing Historical Society
  • Minnesota Museum of Mining
  • The Minnesota Discovery Center
  • The Greyhound Bus Museum
  • The Hibbing High School
  • The Iron Range Tourism Bureau
  • Hibbing Taconite.

Visit our gift shop, and don’t forget your “Taste of the Range” items: Potica, Pasties, and Sarmas!

Did you know?
  • Half of the material mined consists of surface and waste rock, which is found above the taconite ore body. In order to get to the ore, we must drill and blast.
